Social Economy Scotland is pleased to announce the winner of the first Raising the Profile Award in Social Enterprise.
BRAG Enterprises Ltd is the successful winner of this first Raising the Profile Award for social enterprises in Scotland.In the last 12 months BRAG has made an excellent job of raising the profile of their organisation as well as social enterprise more generally.

The intention of this award, sponsored by Communities Scotland, is to promote greater understanding and celebrate the success of individual social enterprises in raising their profile and that of social enterprise in Scotland over the last 12 months
After much deliberation the judging panel selected Brag for their high innovation in using a variety of media to build a consistence message in promoting their work and that of the social enterprise sector. The panel also felt that Brag demonstrated a Genuinely multi-dimensional approach in its media work targeting and engaging the private sector, social enterprise, recruitment, politicians, local people and job seekers.
The applications we received were of a very high standard which made it very difficult to select an overall winner. Other entrants commended by the judges included Yip world, Smile Childcare and the Children’s Garden.. ……..
The prize is £5,000 worth of course fees at the ScottishSocialEnterpriseAcademy. www.theacademy-ssea.org.
